For the last couple of weeks, vignettes have aired on WWE 205 Live hyping the imminent signing of NXT Superstar Lio Rush. Now, “The Man of the Hour” has moved one step closer to his purple-brand debut.
As revealed on WWE’s Instagram account on Tuesday, Rush signed his official 205 Live contract last Friday afternoon at the WWE Performance Center. 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick was on hand to complete the paperwork.
On joining 205 Live, Rush tweeted the following:
Yes yes i know. The Man Of The Hour hears you! This is something that you’ve been waiting for. Something that you so desperately need. @WWE205Live is in need of a gift… #TheGift ! That being in the form of the 23 year old piece of gold. 👀 u soon https://t.co/itUJGlNZQX

On tonight’s episode of 205 Live, announcers Tom Phillips and Percy Watson said Rush will make his debut on next week’s show after signing his contract. Regarding this, Rush tweeted the following:
