Three weeks after their debut, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady are one match away from their very first WWE Tag Team Title opportunity. As seen Monday night on Raw, they got past their first main-roster rivals to do it, knocking off The Dudley Boyz in the semifinals of the No. 1 Contenders’ Tag Team Tournament.
In a backstage tidbit about the match, their entrance did not air because Lilian Garcia announced Cassady as Colin Cassady instead of “Big Cass.” According to Dave Meltzer on the post-Raw edition of Wrestling Observer Radio on F4WOnline.com, “People blew a gasket about that one.”
While Cassady is referred as both Colin Cassady and “Big Cass” by WWE, he’s officially referred to as Colin Cassady in his WWE.com profile. In WWE’s video clip of the match, Cassady is referred as both Colin Cassady and “Big Cass.” The title for the video on WWE.com refers him as Colin Cassady, whereas on YouTube, he’s called “Big Cass.”
