Word initially got around yesterday that Becky Lynch is dealing with an injury that will keep her from wrestling tonight at WWE No Mercy in Sacramento, California. Not much information is known, and the only update on the situation came from F4WOnline.com, where Dave Meltzer noted she could still appear at the show and whatever she’s dealing with is not serious.
He said on Wrestling Observer Radio.
She has an undisclosed health issue that is not serious. You know what that means in English, right? In English it means everyone will tell me that she’s not going to be at the show but no one will tell me what it is. … She may be on show in the Randy Orton role, which would really be kind of weird for them to do the exact same angle two shows in a row. … I don’t know how they’re going to handle it. … I believe Alexa Bliss will probably wrestle someone else.
Now, PWInsider.com is reporting that Lynch is not physically injured but is dealing with some sort of “health issue” that “is keeping her from taking bumps.”

WWE sources, speaking under condition of anonymity, have told PWInsider.com that a health issue is keeping Lynch from taking bumps. There is no physical injury and she has not been suspended, but WWE officials have made the decision that she cannot take bumps until the health issue has cleared.
However, she is at the Golden 1 Center for tonight’s show, so it’s possible WWE runs an angle that will be used to explain her absence in storyline. Either way, the company is still promoting Lynch vs. Alexa Bliss in a SmackDown Women’s Championship Match.
