Kota Ibushi Advances In the WWE CWC, Matches for Next Week’s Episode (Video), Big Post-Match Reaction

Gran Metalik defeated Tajiri in the second round of the Cruiserweight Classic. He’ll advance to the semi-finals wherein he’ll meet the winner of Akira Tozawa and Jack Gallagher.

Last night’s show also featured Kota Ibushi defeating Cedric Alexander in what’s been called a “must-see match.”

Besides Tozawa vs. Gallagher, next week’s show will also feature Brian Kendrick vs. Tony Nese and Noam Dar vs. HoHo Lun. The fans met Ibushi versus Alexander with a standing ovation, chanting “please sign Cedric” and out came Triple H to shake Cedric’s hand and bring him to the back.
