Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kid Kash competed in his first MMA fight since 2008 this past Saturday night but and lasted just 39 seconds.
The 47 year old lost to Lindsey Jones in a welterweight fight at the Valor Fights 38 event from the Nashville Fairgrounds.
As noted, Kash called out former WWE Champion CM Punk while doing media last week. Punk lasted longer in his MMA debut as he lasted 2 minutes and 14 seconds at UFC 203 in a first-round loss to Mickey Gall. Going into the fight, Kash spoke with MMAFighting.com and commented on Punk:
“Damn, he’s the same weight that I am. How bad would I love to knock his ass out? I’ve never liked him. I’ve known the guy for at least 15 years, probably, and he’s been such an arrogant asshole. He was handed so much sh*t. He never earned a fucking thing. I’m kind of amazed that he had the camp that he had for two years and went down that quick and with no defense whatsoever. I would be there with bells on it. I would love to fight that fucker, I really would. … He would be in for a very rude awakening. That fucker couldn’t beat my meat; he couldn’t.”
