– This Sunday’s hour-long kick off show prior to Backlash will feature Renee Young alongside WWE Hall of Famers Lita, Booker T and Jerry Lawler. There is currently no post-show scheduled for 11PM ET, but we’ll keep you updated if that changes.
– CBS 8 has an article on Kane participating as a celebrity server at “Mooyah Burgers, Fries & Shakes” in Knoxville, Tennessee last night. The event was hosted by the “Faith to End Hunger” food drive. 10% of revenue earned from the event was donated to the food drive. Kane served food between 5:30pm and 9pm, and commented on these type of events being fun but holding a deeper meaning:
“I think I’m the typical story you hear from a lot of people, I grew up in a family that didn’t have a whole lot, but I never went to bed hungry. I never knew what that was like, and I can’t imagine what that’s like. We’re such an affluent society that I don’t think hunger should be a problem, especially here in East Tennessee, but unfortunately it is. I guess the message is, I think we’re all here to make the world a better place.”
– The Big Show wrestled John Cena on a house show in Manila, The Philippines. As seen below, the Big Show climbed the ropes, causing them to snap.
