– According to PWInsider, NXT wrestler Danny Burch (aka Martin Stone) recently signed a developmental contract with WWE to permanently work for the company. The 36-year-old British wrestler has been teaming with Oney Lorcan as of late.
Burch joined WWE as a developmental wrestler in 2012 but was mostly used as a jobber in NXT until being released in April 2014. He returned to NXT in July 2015, making sporadic appearances at TV tapings as a jobber. After participating in the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in January 2017, he started getting more regular work in NXT. He continued to work for independent promotions during this time, but now he’ll be working solidly under the NXT banner.
