When John Cena returned to SmackDown LIVE as a “Free Agent,” it was clear WWE was finding a creative way to make it possible for him to work Monday Night Raw shows. That hasn’t happened just yet, but rumors abound that Vince McMahon has his sights set on a Cena vs. Roman Reigns match at some point.
The two have sniped at each other on Twitter in the past, and they kicked that up again on Monday.
Reigns got it started by mentioning the cold crowd in Philadelphia for WWE Battleground, where Cena beat Rusev in a Flag Match.
Pride…always comes before the fall.Don't get too far ahead of yourself young man.But if U want a BigFight careful what u wish for… #RAW https://t.co/oPOTH5gVx2

Cena and Reigns have wrestled once before, though not in a singles match. At WWE Battleground 2014, Cena successfully defended the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Reigns, Kane and Randy Orton in a Fatal 4-Way Match.
