SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon made a blockbuster announcement Wednesday, revealing that John Cena will be the fifth and final member of his team at Survivor Series.
Further proving #SDLive is the superior brand, I'm happy to announce @JohnCena will be the 5th member of Team Smackdown at #SurvivorSeries.

Cena will join McMahon, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura as the SmackDown LIVE Superstars vying for brand supremacy on the blue side in the Men’s 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match at Survivor Series on Nov. 19.
SmackDown LIVE will take on a stacked Raw team that boasts Raw Commissioner Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Jason Jordan.
It is Cena’s first match since losing to Roman Reigns at WWE No Mercy September. Cena had been rumored to be the special referee for the Jinder Mahal vs. Brock Lesnar match at the pay-per-view, but those plans apparently changed when the decision was made for Mahal to drop the WWE Championship to AJ Styles on last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE.
