– The belief within WWE is that “interesting changes” are expected to happen to SmackDown when the show moves to the USA Network in January. According to this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has plans to give the show a different look and integrate new ideas.
However. the belief is that while the SmackDown changes are considered a top priority at the moment, within a month or two of airing on the new channel, as has been the case several times in the past, the show will most likely end up returning to the same old format fans been accustomed to for years.
– While teaming with Samoa Joe in a tag team match against Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder at Thursday’s NXT live event in Lakeland, Florida, Balor hit his head on the low ceiling of the Lakeland Armory. After the match, Samoa Joe checked on him.
