Drew Galloway, formerly known as Drew McIntrye in WWE, has found a great deal of success on the independent circuit as a member of ICW since his WWE release over the summer. Galloway recently spoke with Total Wrestling Magazine to discuss his time with WWE and more.

On his release and the new opportunities it opened up:

“I see it as an opportunity. It was just the right time for me to go. I wasn’t in a position where I was adding to the show and I’m still young. I was there in my entire 20s pretty much, I went there when I was 21 and I’ve been wrestling since I was 15, so I literally grew up there.

I was kind of pigeonholed into a position where I couldn’t leap into anything serious and it was time to break away and do my own thing.

They’ve given me this reputation, and this branding I now have is thanks to WWE, where I am able to do all the things I do now because I’m a familiar face. It’s up to me to make something of it because I know one day they’re going to want me back.”

Galloway also spoke about 3MB:

“3MB was just really bad timing, Vince genuinely believed in the idea and he put me and Jinder Mahal in it because we weren’t the obvious choices. They weren’t doing anything particularly with us at the time and he was like ‘alright, screw it, I want to see use these guys, let’s try them in this role and see what they do with it.

He was willing to invest in it and he did invest in it in the beginning, but unfortunately I needed surgery the following week because my hand was broken and I was supposed to be the ass-kicker of the group. That killed our momentum right when we started and he debuted The Shield the week after.”

More from the interview, including his thoughts on being labeled “The Chosen One” by Vince McMahon, can be found here.

Alexa Bliss

As is often the case whenever female performer grows a following in the professional wrestling industry, fans will go online to see if she's done porn. That is the case with Alexa Bliss, who is turning heads on WWE NXT. Online searches for pornographic photos of the former bodybuilding competitor have gradually been on the rise.

Sorry to disappoint grappling fans, but Alexa has never done porn, so it is a futile search.
