NXT’s move to the USA Network is now official.
WWE and USA Network announced today an agreement in principle to air WWE’s weekly Wednesday night show, NXT, live on USA Network at 8/7 C starting September 18. The show will now run two hours.
The series will continue to emanate from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. WWE sent out an email announcing that when the move happens, the new two-hour NXT weekly show will also be available on demand on WWE Network every Thursday night beginning at 8/7 C. NXT TakeOver events will continue to stream live exclusively on WWE Network.
The news hasn’t garnered widespread support among fans as many believe the NXT product will change with the move to the USA Network. According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the fear is unwarranted.
Satin was told by WWE sources that current plan is for NXT to remain the same product it’s been for years and that moving to USA Network was only done to get more eyes on it.
Triple H took to Twitter to react to the announcement.
Can’t describe this announcement in any other word than PROUD.

Proud you’ve loudly & clearly said #WeAreNXT.
And I’m proud to say, we’re just getting started. https://t.co/GAF34LZGeT
