Former TNA Star Was Scheduled for WWE CWC, WWE Contacting Former Superstars for Draft, Triple H

– Former TNA X Division Champion The Amazing Red was originally scheduled for WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic but he recently suffered a broken ankle and won’t be ready in time for the tapings on June 23rd.

– We noted before that Triple H flew from the UK Download Festival to China for WWE business this weekend. He was in China to oversee a WWE tryout.

– WWE officials have reportedly reached out to several former Superstars in the past week to see if they would be interested in returning to the company for the Brand Extension that kicks off in July when SmackDown goes live on Tuesdays. We’ve noted how there are plans to “raid” WWE NXT for the brand split but it appears they are looking at bringing some veterans back as well.
