New Match Announced For Raw Tonight

Another match has been added to the lineup for tonight’s Raw at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

WWE announced on Twitter this afternoon that Finn Balor will face Drew McIntyre on Raw.

Both competitors were involved in a Triple Threat Match with Roman Reigns on Raw last Monday, which Reigns won to advance to tonight’s No. 1 Contender’s Match against Bobby Lashley. McIntyre hit Balor with a Claymore Kick before Reigns gave McIntyre a Superman Punch and speared Balor for the win. Before the finish, McIntyre pulled Balor out of the ring as he pinned Reigns after hitting “The Big Dog” with the Coup de Grâce.

Lashley beat Elias and Seth Rollins in a Triple Threat Match last week for the other spot in the No. 1 Contender’s Match, which will determine Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s challenger at SummerSlam.

In addition to Reigns vs. Lashley and Balor vs. McIntyre, Stephanie McMahon making a “historic announcement” and The B-Team (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas) defending the Raw Tag Team Championship against “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are also advertised for Raw tonight.
