– UFC is looking to squash rumors that UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey is under contract to WWE after participating in an angle at WrestleMania 31 on Sunday.
The official Twitter account of UFC Tonight, the weekly news and information show of the UFC, issued this statement Wednesday night via Twitter:
Ronda Rousey does NOT have a deal with the WWE, her WrestleMania appearance was a “one-off”.

On Sunday at Levi’s Stadium, Rousey sat ringside for WrestleMania 31, and midway through the show made a surprise appearance in the ring with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson where she dispatched Triple H with a hiptoss and Stephanie McMahon with an armbar. Following the event, Rousey teased additional involvement with WWE.
