When WWE made the decision to suspend Enzo Amore over allegations of sexual assault on Monday afternoon, he was backstage at Raw 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York getting ready for the show.
According to Conrad Thompson, who co-hosts the Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast with Bruce Prichard (aka Brother Love) and was backstage at Raw 25, he saw Amore wearing a T-shirt that says “TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE” on the front and “CAN’T WAIT FOR TOMORROW” on the back.

Amore was accused of sexual assault earlier in the day by a woman on Twitter and WWE suspended him hours later stating that they have “zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault.” WWE then released him on Tuesday.
According to a report today, Amore was approached at the Barclays Center by WWE officials as he was getting ready for Raw 25 and asked about the allegations. While Amore denied the allegations were true, he acknowledged that he knew about the investigation. From WWE’s perspective, the fact that Amore had been aware of the criminal investigation, yet failed to inform organization officials about, led to his immediate suspension and expulsion from the Barclays Center.
