Emma’s First Reaction To WWE Release, Paige Shows Her Support

WWE announced today that they had come to terms on the releases of Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae. Emma’s release came as a shock to many because she’s been feuding with Asuka as of late. Shortly after the announcement was made, Emma posted a quick tweet with a broken heart emoji.

The two came up together through NXT and had some notable matches. In July 2013, Paige and Emma clashed to become the first ever NXT Women’s Champion — Paige won.

Then in February 2014, Paige successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Emma at NXT ArRIVAL.
