– Thanks to Bubba Perez and Stephen Fleischman for these detailed reports and photos from Thursday’s WWE WrestleMania 32 ticket on-sale party at AT&T Stadium near Dallas:
* Around the ring was standing room only, they announced over 7,100 in attendance. The event was free and fans were wrapped around the stadium to get in.
* NXT Superstars and Divas were doing autograph sessions all through the night.
* Camera crews were filming all night – fans as they entered the stadium, the matches and more.
* Steve Austin opened the show to a huge pop and did a Q&A with Corey Graves. They also talked about WrestleMania 32. No indication that Austin will be wrestling.
* Carmella defeated Alexa Bliss. Carmella was very over here in Dallas while the fans were all over Alexa with heat. Carmella defeated Alexa in about 6 minutes.
* Lita came out for a Q&A but unlike Stone Cold, she stayed on the stage. Next up was Mark Henry for a Q&A, who stayed on the stage as well.
* Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley defeated Blake and Murphy. Before the bell, Mojo danced to the “Get Hyped” chants but Ryder was the most over with the fans. Hype Bros. win the match after their tag team finisher. This was a comedy match.
* Next was a game show segment with Corey Graves hosting, where kids and adults were given trivia questions.
* Asuka defeated Peyton Royce in a very technical match. Asuka won with a sleeper and was over.
* More game show segments, this time with Superstar impersonations. The guy who did “Macho Man” Randy Savage got booed off stage as his was the worst one of the night. The guy impersonating Santino Marella won the contest.
* Apollo Crews defeated Tye Dillinger. Tye cut a promo saying how the Dallas Cowboys were not going to be at the Super Bowl. This of course got maybe the loudest boos of the night. Crews got a big pop and this was the match of the night for sure. Crews won with the standing moonsault.
* Samoa Joe defeated Baron Corbin by submission. This was a very technical match as well but they stayed mostly outside of the ring. Corbin attacked after the match but Billy Gunn made the save. Gunn tied Austin with the biggest pop of the night. He hit the Fame-asser on Corbin, then celebrated with Joe. Graves went looking for people to ask Gunn questions but he said he didn’t want to because he really doesn’t talk much, but does say… “If you’re not down with WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas then we got 2 words for ya!” Graves and co-host Greg Hamilton said goodnight and that was it.
