Darren Young is going under the knife today to fix his elbow.
The WWE Superstar posted an update on Instagram and said he’s getting his elbow loaded with “some serious hardware” in Birmingham, Alabama.
He explains, “Dr. Dugas who is a phenomenal surgeon will be taking care of me. He did my knee 3 years ago. There is no time frame as to when I will be back but as always I will be keeping busy with rehab and my prior speaking etc. commitments.”
He suffered the injury during a WWE Main Event match taped on Jan. 16 before an episode of Raw.

According to Young, his injury was diagnosed as “Hyperextension which resulted in a traumatic dislocation and fracture of the coronoid process of the right elbow.”
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer, the preliminary diagnosis is that Young will be out of action for six months.
