– In regards to Billy Corgan’s new role as President of TNA’s parent company Impact Ventures, this is 100% legitimate and not part of a storyline. PWInsider reports that there was a huge uptick in backstage morale after the announcement.

TNA officials made the announcement during a meeting with the roster and staff in Orlando over the weekend. New Impact Wrestling Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer Dixie Carter explained the changes and officially welcomed Corgan to the new role. Corgan received a big round of applause and talked about hopes and strategies for the company for about 10 minutes.
