CM Punk and Madusa Celebrate Paul Heyman’s Daughter’s Bat Mitzvah

Saturday night, Paul Heyman had the pleasure of celebrating his daughter’s bat mitzvah and he invited some of his closest friends, including former wrestlers. Madusa, who was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April as Alundra Blayze, was there and posted a number of photos on her Instagram account, including shots of herself, Heyman and CM Punk.

And then you have this guy…. Totally love and respect Phil @cmpunk we both lit a candle together in honor of @azaleaheyman however we missed his beautiful wife…. AJ ❤️

To give you an idea of just how much Punk and Madusa mean to the Heyman family, take a look at the upper-right photo in the above Instagram image: They’re lighting candles with the bat mitzvah girl herself, and that’s something usually reserved for family members. Heyman and Madusa worked together closely in WCW as part of his Dangerous Alliance faction before feuding, while Punk befriended Heyman when he booked Ohio Valley Wrestling, becoming close in the process.

Later, after Madusa got back to her hotel, she showed off one of the awesome party favors given out to the guests at the bat mitzvah.

Punk’s wife April, who was known as AJ Lee in WWE, missed the affair due to a prior engagement. She had a brief Twitter exchange with Madusa about the event.
