Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch is officially set for WWE Hell in a Cell, but it won’t be taking place inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
Charlotte defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Lynch was officially added to WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event on Tuesday night during SmackDown LIVE. Although Flair sent Lynch a tweet the day before asking her if she wants to settle things inside Hell in a Cell, there was no mention made of it during SmackDown LIVE.
The only matches set to take place inside Hell in a Cell are Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman and Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton.
Lynch challenged Flair to a SmackDown Women’s Championship Match last week after attacking her on SmackDown LIVE. On tonight’s show, they furthered their storyline during a split-screen interview with Tom Phillips. Lynch vowed to take the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Flair, and Flair asked Lynch what her excuse will be when she loses this time.
Phillips then confirmed their match as taking place at WWE Hell in a Cell but it will not be inside the Hell in a Cell structure.
