– Brock Lesnar is officially the longest-reigning Universal Champion in WWE history.
He broke Kevin Owens’ record of 188 days as Universal Champion on Sunday.
There have been four Universal champions after the title was introduced last year. Finn Balor became the inaugural champion in August 2016 but relinquished the title a day later due to a shoulder injury. Owens would win the belt on Monday Night Raw in August 2016, before dropping the title to Goldberg at WWE Fastlane in March 2017. Lesnar then defeated Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 to become Universal Champion.
