Bray Wyatt Cited For Careless Driving In Multi-Car Accident

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt is at fault for a three-car accident that occurred last Friday in Tampa, Florida.

According to a vehicular crash report obtained by TMZ Sports on Tuesday, Wyatt — real name Windham Lawrence Rotunda — wasn’t paying attention to traffic when he crashed into the car in front of him and caused the driver to veer to the left and hit another vehicle.

As a result of the accident, the WWE Superstar was cited for “careless driving due to his failure to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.” It’s unclear what, if anything, Wyatt was distracted by while driving. The report simply says he was “inattentive.”

Before Raw on Monday night, WWE.com reported that Wyatt was en route to Tampa International Airport for this past weekend’s Raw WWE live events when he was involved in a head-on automobile collision that left his car totaled. Wyatt sustained multiple injuries from the accident and was transported to Tampa General Hospital via ambulance. He has since been released.

Due to his injuries, Wyatt did not compete at this past weekend’s WWE live events and was not present at Raw this week from the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. “Woken” Matt Hardy faced Curtis Axel on Raw and Michael Cole made no mention of Wyatt’s car accident, only saying that he’s out with an injury.

Before Raw, Hardy responded to WWE’s report with the following:

Shortly after the news broke on WWE.com, Wyatt spoke to TMZ Sports.

“I’m gonna live through it because I can’t die,” Wyatt said.

TMZ Sports noted that he’s in good spirits.

“I’m moving around,” Wyatt said.

Following Raw, Wyatt tweeted this message to Hardy:

Wyatt and Hardy are still scheduled to defend the Raw Tag Team Championship against The B-Team (Axel and Bo Dallas) at WWE Extreme Rules on July 15.
