Booker T Talks Dudley Boyz Returning To WWE, Is He Interested In Wrestling Again?

Booker T

It was back at WrestleMania 28 when WWE Hall of Famer Booker T last competed in a WWE ring. The 50-year-old veteran has maintained his physical prowess in case there are ever plans for him to make a one-night return, though.

In a recent interview with The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast, the six-time World Champion discussed the return of The Dudley Boyz to WWE programming.

โ€œIโ€™m excited to see the Dudleys back in WWE,โ€ Booker said. โ€œItโ€™s the place where they should be. To finish their career on that stage the way they should finish it, for what theyโ€™ve given to the [professional wrestling] business, I think they are in the right place definitely at the right time.โ€

As far as stepping back in the squared circle is concerned, Booker mentioned WrestleMania 32 and how a tag team bout against Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley would be enough to peak his interest.

โ€œI donโ€™t foresee myself putting my boots on ever again unless it was a situation like the Harlem Heat versus the Dudleyz or something like that,โ€ Booker said. โ€œOtherwise, I have no interest in getting back in the ring.

He continued, โ€œWrestleMania is coming around and itโ€™s going to be in Texas next year. Thatโ€™ll be a great place to actually do that if they want to do it. I wouldnโ€™t mind having one last WrestleMania run.โ€
