The war of words between CM Punk and Hulk Hogan continues. As previously noted, CM Punk and Hogan have been having a back and forth while the Chicago Blackhawks were taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning for the Stanley Cup. Punk once again went out Hogan verbally yesterday as a member of the CSN Chicago panel for the Blackhawksโ Stanley Cup parade. Punkโs feud with Hogan was brought up, and it was noted by Pat Boyle on the panel that Hogan was a โTampa Bay Lightning fan.โ
Punk disagreed saying, โNo heโs not. Thatโs the problem I have with that. If Iโm a Lightning fan, Iโm embarrassed they hitched their wagon to a guy like that. Doesnโt know Stamkosโs name, the captainโs name. Icing to him is something he eats three times a day.โ
โMy love for hockey supersedes anything else and I would just like to see people tune in and understand the game and appreciate the game for what it is. You put something on there like that, it kind of lowers it a littleโฆ If Iโm a Lightning fan, I want someone to better represent my team. Theyโre a hell of an organization. That paints them in the wrong light.โ
July 24, 2015 โ Booker T, who infamously said that N-word during a live WCW pay-per-view event in 1997, weighed in on Hulk Hoganโs racist rant via Twitter.
โ20 years ago I made a huge mistake by saying something I shouldnโt have on National TV.
Itโs 2015 and the n-word should be eradicated from the English language in my opinion.
I am shocked by the statements made by Hulk Hogan. Itโs unfortunate, but thatโs something that heโs going to have to deal with.โ
