Lynch had been out since the Nov. 21 episode of SmackDown LIVE where Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan launched a surprise backstage assault on “The Irish Lasskicker” as well as Naomi.
In reality, Lynch had been cast in the next Marine film, along with The Miz and Shawn Michaels. Production for the film wrapped up last Thursday in London, England, and it was just a matter of time before she returned to the road.
According to PWInsider.com, Lynch is being figured into creative plans on SmackDown LIVE for early January so she should be back on television by then.
She was also announced for WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, which will stream live in the U.S. exclusively on Facebook on Tuesday nights beginning Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT.
