– We haven’t seen Becky Lynch since the Nov. 21 episode of SmackDown LIVE where Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan launched a surprise backstage assault on “The Irish Lasskicker” as well as Naomi.
The angle was done to write Lynch’s character off television after she was cast in WWE Studios’ The Marine 6 with The Miz and Shawn Michaels. Production for the film began two weeks ago in London, England and is still ongoing, but she is almost finished shooting her part.
According to PWInsider.com, Lynch is being figured into creative plans on SmackDown LIVE for early January so she should be back on the show by then. It’s likely that she’ll be back working house shows before then as part of WWE’s annual post-Christmas tour.
Lynch was announced for WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge, which will stream live in the U.S. exclusively on Facebook on Tuesday nights beginning Jan. 16 at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT.
– Stephanie McMahon posted her latest “Midnight Workout” video, which is a dumbbell floor press.
