– As noted, Mick Foley’s son Dewey Foley will begin working for WWE as a creative writer’s assistant in January 2016.
I noted last week that it won’t be a full-time position and the job will depend on how he impresses officials. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Dewey may be with the company from just January through WrestleMania 32 season, unless he really does well.
It was also noted by Alvarez that while Dewey obviously won’t have a lot of real creative power, one of his tasks will be to take the scripts to WWE talents and go over what they have to do that night. Foley will work from home and some WWE events.
While Foley won’t have a lot of real creative power at first, this is obviously an in to the company and if he does well, the first step to becoming an actual writer.
