Bray Wyatt has always spoken in riddles, but “The Eater of Worlds”‘ latest Twitter proclamations are even more baffling than usual.
On Monday night, the absent WWE Superstar took to Twitter to say “goodbye” to his followers, and that, although he once claimed to be a god, his “soul is clean now.”
“I was put on this Earth to fix it, to change it,” Wyatt wrote. “And I will not die until this is so.”
Wyatt also strangely refers to himself as “we” in his final post. Whether he is referring to his prior alliance with “Woken” Matt Hardy, The Wyatt Family or something else entirely remains unknown.
Whatever the case, as Wyatt himself affirmed, “the journey is far from over.”
These posts come a little over a week after “The Eater of Worlds” wiped his Twitter account clean. On Decembe 8, in his first post following that cleansing, Wyatt wrote, “Today I have finally become who I really am.”
His next post, on December 13, featured an apparent passage from the Book of the Dead.
As for what all this means … who knows. However, there are plans for Wyatt to return to action starting next week.
“Bray Wyatt made some ripples with some social media [on Monday]. He is not leaving WWE, he’s just playing around on social media. Actually, because so many people asked we looked into what his status was and he’s actually scheduled to wrestle for the Raw brand for the post-Christmas tour starting on Madison Square Garden on December 26th. So John Cena doesn’t have an opponent so perhaps Bray Wyatt is going to wrestle John Cena that night,” Mike Johnson said on the PWInsider Elite Podcast (h/t Ringside News).
“We’ll see, but Bray Wyatt is scheduled for post-Raw live events, he’s not going anywhere and it’s not a situation where he’s in trouble or he’s getting released. He’s just off
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE sources previously told him that Wyatt “might be undergoing some sort of change in character going forward.”
