Backstage News On John Cena vs. The Undertaker – Why WWE Hasn’t Announced Their Match Yet

After The Undertaker did not respond to John Cena’s challenge to a one-on-one match at WrestleMania this past week on Raw, Cena labeled The Deadman a “coward.” His remarks led to the resurgence of The Phenom’s brother Kane to defend his brother’s honor by Chokeslamming Cena in the center of the ring.

Real-life is playing a part in The Undertaker still having yet to respond Cena’s challenge. WWE has delayed making the match official because The Undertaker is still nervous about how his body will respond to getting back in the ring. He felt he needed extra time in case there’s a setback with his preparation.

Next weekend, Cena will be working out with The Undertaker in a ring near The Deadman’s home. This is their only scheduled session until WrestleMania week when Cena and Undertaker will have plenty of time to go over the match in a ring set up at the WWE hotel.
