Backstage News on AAA Pay-Per-Views, GFW and ROH Attendance, Update on GFW Amped TV Tapings

– Stars advertised for the next GFW Amped TV tapings on October 23rd from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas include PJ Black, Bobby Roode, Nick Aldis, Chris Masters, Amber O’Neal and Christina Von Eerie. Matches and more names will be announced soon. GFW now has various tickets and packages on sale at this link.

– The August 28th GFW live event in Harrisburg, PA with Kevin Nash drew around 250 fans. The August 29th GFW show in Richmond, VA, also with Nash, drew around 250 fans as well.

– The August 29th ROH live event in Atlanta drew just over 1,000 fans.

– Going into the show, it appeared AAA’s first English pay-per-view in the United States and Canada would be a success as there was a strong buzz for the recent TripleMania event. However, it was noted to The Observer by a source very close to the situation that any hope for AAA to do another pay-per-view to air in the US and Canada was “dashed over” this past week.
