Backstage News on Why Dolph Ziggler Lost to The Miz at Last Night’s WWE RAW

– The Miz defeated Dolph Ziggler on last night’s WWE RAW because he will be involved in a “key match” at WrestleMania 32, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live. Apparently both Ziggler and Miz will be in some sort of multi-man match. It was speculated that they could compete for the WWE Intercontinental Title but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Apparently there was a feeling that Miz needed a win to give him some credibility. The feeling was that Ziggler didn’t need the win because he has a few recent victories over Kevin Owens.
