Alexa Bliss’ injury status has been confirmed and it’s not good news.
WWE announced Friday that Bliss will not wrestle in her scheduled match against Trish Stratus and Lita on Sunday at Evolution. Mickie James will instead team with Alicia Fox, with Bliss in their corner.
At #WWEEvolution, @AlexaBliss_WWE will be unable to compete due to injury, so she will now be in the corner of @MickieJames and @AliciaFoxy as they take on @WWE Hall of Famers @trishstratuscom and @AmyDumas! https://t.co/hNFl97LVYS pic.twitter.com/4sArgWozWV

Bliss was reported to have suffered a concussion during a tag team match against Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax at last Saturday’s WWE live event in Hartford, Connecticut. Her injury came one night after she returned to the ring after being out of action for a month.
In September, Bliss got pulled from Mixed Match Challenge for what WWE said at the time was numbness in her left arm. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, she had been dealing with the injury since before Hell in a Cell, so WWE decided to weave it into storylines to explain why she was unable to wrestle.
