Once the self-professed “Glitter Queen” of NXT, Alexa Bliss taught foes that behind her scintillating exterior was a volcanic drive for perfection. A fan of Trish Stratus and Rey Mysterio, Bliss became a competitive athlete at age five, participating in kickboxing, gymnastics, softball, competitive bodybuilding and Division 1 cheerleading.

In 2014, her taste for bling drew her toward gold when she defeated NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks in a non-title match. She’d later pursue Bayley for the NXT Women’s Championship, as well.

Aligning with Blake and Murphy, she helped the duo hold onto their NXT Tag Team Championship on several occasions during their nearly seven-month reign in 2015.

In summer 2016, Bliss was drafted to SmackDown. Within six months, Bliss captured the SmackDown Women’s Championship twice.

Bliss was traded to Raw in April 2017 and began referring to herself as “The Goddess of WWE.” Three weeks later, she defeated Bayley to become Raw Women’s Champion. She lost her title to Sasha Banks at SummerSlam 2017, but regained the gold one week later and reigned for more than six months.

She made history by winning the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, then lost her championship title to former friend Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34.

A few weeks later, Bliss won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and, that night, cashed in her title.

After losing the title to Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2018, Bliss took time off from competition. She got her own talk show, “A Moment of Bliss,” and hosted WrestleMania 35. In the summer of 2019, with partner Nikki Cross, she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, once again proving her dominance.

But just when you thought she couldn’t get any more dangerous, Alexa became captivated by The Fiend in 2020 and became his full-blown accomplice while paying multiple visits to The Firefly Fun House before she seemingly betrayed him at WrestleMania 37.
