Alberto Del Rio Gets Attacked By Fan Saturday Night (Video)

While wrestling in Puerto Rico on Saturday night, Alberto Del Rio was attacked by a fan.

Prior to returning to WWE, Del Rio agreed to wrestle for World Wrestling Council at its Lockout event at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamón. When he was outside of the ring during a match against Ray Gonzalez, a fan began pummeling the WWE Superstar while his back was turned.

Here is video of the incident, which was quickly broken up by personnel at ringside.

The fan was thrown out and the match immediately continued. It ended in disqualification when a Figure-Four Leglock Gonzalez had placed Del Rio in was broken up by El Hijo de Dos Caras (Del Rio’s younger brother and former WWE NXT talent Memo Montenegro).
