AJ Styles and Sasha Banks at 2K Event (Photos), Update on WWE Purchasing Real Estate, Santino Marella

– Canada’s Fight Network announced that they will air the first in a multi-part “Retrospective” series on former WWE Superstar Santino Marella on September 28th. Below is a preview for episode one:

– As previously reported, WWE purchased new property on Hamilton Avenue in Stamford Connecticut, just about one mile from the official company headquarters on East Main Streetse. WWE has been running GTV production from Hamilton Avenue for the past 16 years. AmeriCares, who currently uses the space, noted in a statement that WWE is honoring their lease, which runs through 2023 with options to renew through 2033. WWE said in their statement to The Stamford Advocate, who reports that the sale was for approximately $26.9 million:

“WWE currently occupies 20,000 square feet, and our plan is to occupy an additional 40,000 square feet (existing on the property) within the next year. AmeriCares is under a long-term lease and occupies 90,000 square feet and Squash Alley occupies the remaining 4,000 square feet.”
