Paige Announces Big Match For SmackDown LIVE

United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy have been bickering and battling, for months. Now, with Hardy’s Hell in a Cell Match with Randy Orton only days away at the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event, Hardy feels as though he must “cleanse his soul” and resolve his unfinished business with “The King of Strong Style.”

SmackDown LIVE General Manager Paige agreed and revealed that this showdown will be the first match to take place on SmackDown LIVE.

A good “soul-cleansing” is nice every now and again. So I’ll give you that opportunity….

This is the fifth match announced for tomorrow’s show.

In the main event, Maryse returns to the ring to face Brie Bella ahead of their match at WWE Hell in a Cell — Maryse and The Miz vs. Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan in a Mixed Tag Team Match.

The New Day will find out who they will defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against at WWE Hell in a Cell as Rusev Day and The Bar clash for the right to face the titleholders.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Sonya Deville in a non-title match and R-Truth vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas are also set for SmackDown LIVE.

SmackDown LIVE takes place at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana and will also feature the final build to AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe at WWE Hell in a Cell.
