NXT Opens With Vader Graphic (Photo), Update On Lars Sullivan and Aleister Black After TakeOver

– Last night’s episode of NXT on the WWE Network opened with a graphic paying tribute to Vader, who passed away on Monday night following a hard-fought battle with pneumonia.

Messages from wrestlers that were posted on social media were also displayed on the bottom of the screen during the open for the show.

– Following his loss to NXT Champion Aleister Black at NXT TakeOver: Chicago II, a “representative” for Lars Sullivan tweeted the following on the wrestler’s account.

This is Lars Sullivan's representative, William Christensen. Lars would like to say he is officially moving on from Saturday. Thank you

We should know WWE’s immediate direction for Sullivan tonight since NXT television tapings are being held at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

As for Black, it was announced on last night’s episode of NXT that he will speak live on next week’s show.
