Summer Rae is returning to the ring after a two-year absence.
The former WWE Superstar will be making her return to the ring later this month in Australia for Battle Championship Wrestling.
The event takes place on Friday, May 25 in Burwood East, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A promotional poster for the event advertises Summer under her real name — Danielle Moinet — and Lucha Underground star Ivelisse as competitors in an ongoing tournament for the BCW Women’s Championship.
This will be Moinet’s first wrestling match since August 2016 and her first appearance at a wrestling show since her release from WWE in October 2017. Since being released, she has continued modeling but recently began making appearances at wrestling conventions.
Battle Championship Wrestling released this video hyping Moinet’s appearance, which includes a brief message from her saying she will become the first-ever BCW Women’s Champion.
Moinet also sent out this tweet hyping her appearance.
