WWE Considering Big Change for the Slammy Awards, Plans for More WWE Network Specials In 2016

– WWE officials have talked about making the annual Slammy Awards a standalone event instead of having it as an episode of RAW. The idea is that the awards would air on the WWE Network in December, similar to how the Hall of Fame was. They would book a smaller theater-type venue instead of a major arena.

On a related note, right now WWE is planning on holding quarterly live specials on the WWE Network in 2016, specials like Elimination Chamber and the July 4th show from Tokyo.
