WWE announced Wednesday that Edge and Christian will induct The Dudley Boyz into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian took part in some of the most extreme battles in WrestleMania history, pushing each other to the absolute limits of what they could do with tables, ladders and chairs. This WrestleMania, the mood when the two pairs are in the same building will be a little less intense,” WWE.com states.
“The duo that reeks of awesomeness will have the honor of inducting Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley into the WWE Hall of Fame during the 2018 Induction Ceremony on Friday, April 6, from New Orleans, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.”
During Monday’s edition of Busted Open Radio on SiriusXM, Bubba Ray, who co-hosts the show, asked Edge if he and Christian would induct The Dudleyz Boys into the WWE Hall of Fame. Edge accepted, and Bubba Ray also mentioned that he wants The Dudleyz, Edge, and Christian, and The Hardys to share the stage at the same time at some point during the ceremony.

Those three teams faced off at WrestleMania twice, in a triangle ladder match at WrestleMania 2000 and in a TLC match at WrestleMania X-7. Between those two meetings, they took part in the first-ever TLC match at SummerSlam 2000.
After Goldberg was announced as the headliner, The Dudley Boyz were the second act to be confirmed for the 2018 Hall of Fame class. They’ve since been joined by Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, Hillbilly Jim, Mark Henry, celebrity inductee Kid Rock, and Warrior Award recipient Jarrius “JJ” Robertson.
