The Beast is back.
Universal Champion Brock Lesnar made headlines when he and his advocate Paul Heyman did not appear on Raw this past Monday as originally scheduled, infuriating his WrestleMania 34 opponent Roman Reigns in the process.
Lesnar, however, changed the narrative a bit when he returned to action Saturday night in Chicago, Illinois. In his first in-ring action since the Royal Rumble pay-per-view this past January, Lesnar beat Kane in 35 seconds.
That’s right, 35 seconds.
This is the total time for the @BrockLesnar and @KaneWWE match at #WWECHICAGO. Squash would be an understatement. And yes, that’s seconds. pic.twitter.com/tU6GgptTb8

Brock Lesnar was in fact at #WWEChicago. He beat Kane in less than a minute and it was TO THE BACK. Crowd wasn’t too happy. pic.twitter.com/a1FbMl3IcE

Earlier in the week, Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman did not appear on Raw as originally scheduled. His absence led to an angle where his WrestleMania 34 opponent, Roman Reigns, revealed that Lesnar never came to the arena for their scheduled confrontation. Reigns called Lesnar “an entitled piece of crap who hides behind his contract” and lambasted him for what he claimed was a disrespectful attitude toward fans and WWE.
