– Nia Jax had a short squash match this past Monday on Raw, which isn’t that notable by itself. What’s notable is that she faced a teenager who is most likely still in high school.
Billed as Vanessa Floyd by WWE, Jax’s opponent on Raw was Savanna Stone, an independent wrestler from Missouri. According to Squared Circle Sirens, Stone is just 17 years old.
Stone has trained under one-time ROH World Champion Michael Elgin and worked for various independent promotions in the Midwest. Since Stone is 17, it’s quite possible that she’s the youngest female to ever wrestle inside a WWE ring.
Following Raw, Jax praised Stone on Twitter.
Just warming up on my way to #Wrestlemania, I’m coming for you @WWEAsuka 👊🏼😈
PS I was impressed with this very young talent that stepped in the ring with me, nervous as can be, but she did such a great job! @SavannaStone01 congrats on your raw debut 😉 pic.twitter.com/b714PtpCCt
