With her attractive shapely figure, grappling fans aplenty have salivated over the prospect of Stephanie McMahon following in the footsteps Sable, Chyna, Torrie Wilson, Candice Michelle, Ashley Massaro and Maria Kanellis by stripping it all off for Playboy. In 2002, the WWE executive addressed the possibility of crossing over to porn.
“I don’t know, at this point in my life, probably not. But who knows in the future,” McMahon said in response to whether she would ever pose nude for Playboy.
With WWE presenting a risqué product at the time, the daughter of Vince McMahon shedding her clothes for the pornographic publication could be considered a possibility. Today, however, WWE presents a family-friendly, TV-PG-rated product and with McMahon presiding as the sports-entertainment organization’s Chief Brand Officer, it definitely appears that ship has sailed. She was, however, complementary of the company’s former partnership with Playboy in a 2014 interview.
“Anytime we can expand our reach outside of our audience in a place our audience is not normally found is a good thing for the WWE brand. It brings new eyeballs onto our programming: it gets people interested. Sable and Chyna doing Playboy was one of those times because suddenly we were mainstream. We were competing in a space that we had never been in before,” she said.
While McMahon has never posed nude for Playboy or any other pornographic publication, she has been subject to multiple wardrobe malfunctions over the course of her sports-entertainment career that resulted in the accidental exposure of her private areas. Most infamously, McMahon was subject to not one, not two, but three wardrobe malfunctions just before WrestleMania X8 in 2002.
McMahon, who was 25-years-old at the time, underwent a breast augmentation the year before which made her chest considerably larger. This proved problematic for “Mrs. Game” when she was scripted to take a Pedigree from Triple H on March 12, 2002 at a SmackDown taping in Cleveland, Ohio. As she bent down to take the move while donning a cleavage-baring leather top, the sheer weight of her ample right breast led to an embarrassing nip slip. There Stephanie was in front of a live crowd, with her huge breast hanging out and completely helpless to do anything about it.
While McMahon’s brief display of nudity was edited off the television broadcast on UPN, satellite footage of the infamous event surfaced online.
One month earlier, the very same breast was briefly exposed after she was shoved to the ring canvas by Triple H, who had become infuriated with his on-screen wife. She was wearing a revealing wedding dress with no bra.
During an interview later that year on The Howard Stern Show, McMahon was asked whether her wardrobe malfunctions were planned.
“It was really an accident. I was horrified. If I had planned to do something like that, that’s one thing, but when it sorta happens and you’re not planning on it, it’s a little unnerving,” she said.
As if that wasn’t enough, McMahon’s bare buttocks was also exposed during this time frame. On the March 11, 2002 episode of Raw, Triple H had gripped her pants and thong during a chase, resulting in a brief display of her ass. The program was rebroadcast on WWE’s subscription video on demand television service in February 2008 with her nude butt digitized.
In response to McMahon’s refusal to purposely bare all, some fans have assumed the measure of creating nude fakes — bogus images depicting the WWE executive in an uncovered state.
