WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan “Immobile and Unable To Travel”

Fanboy Expo announced over the weekend on Facebook that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan will be unable to make his advertised appearance at their “Totally Awesome Weekend” event in Knoxville, Tennessee, in October due to being “immobile and unable to travel.”

Below is the official statement from Fanboy Expo:

Unfortunately Bobby Heenan will not be able to join us for Totally Awesome Weekend. Bobby is currently immobile and unable to travel 🙁 Please send out your prayers and positive vibes to him and his family.

It’s not everyday you get to meet a childhood hero, a legend, or someone you have been a fan of for years. Heenan, who is now 72 years old, has suffered from complications from throat cancer in recent years, which has led to numerous operations, including jaw reconstruction surgery, dramatically changing his appearance and voice. Despite his extensive physical limitations, he has been able to make appearances meeting fans from time to time.
