In what is often a step toward becoming a regular presence on WWE television, NXT’s MaryKate Duignan Glidewell has a new ring name.
Glidewell, who is five-foot-eleven, will be known as Sage Miller going forward.
Her Twitter handle, which was @Amazon_Andrea, has been changed to @SageMillerWWE, with her bio reflecting the name change as well.
She sent out this tweet on Wednesday signifying the change.

Glidewell reported to the WWE Performance Center in January and has been wrestling at non-televised NXT live events in Florida under her real first name, MaryKate.
A product of Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley’s wrestling academy, Glidewell has fought all over the world since her debut in 2007, including matches in Japan and TNA.
In TNA, she was known as Rosie Lottalove. Here is a video of her television debut back in June 2010.
Her run, however, was brief as she only wrestled two more matches for TNA before parting ways with the company in August 2010. It was reported at the time that TNA stopped using her because they her felt in-ring ability wasn’t up to par with the other female wrestlers.
After five years of wrestling, she retired in June 2012 due to a rash of injuries. She resumed wrestling in October 2014, after losing nearly 130 pounds.
Glidewell quickly landed on WWE’s radar, appearing as a Rosebud in February 2015. She tried out for WWE later that year and even worked a match on NXT as an enhancement talent against Emma.

Glidewell would become a mainstay in female wrestling promotion, SHINE, before being signed in late 2016.
