NXT wrestler Chris Atkins is no longer employed by WWE.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, he was recently released.
It’s unclear at this time what led to his exit from WWE, but Atkins last wrestled 10 days ago at an NXT live event in Gainesville, Florida. He lost to Oney Lorcan.

A native of Australia, Atkins joined WWE two years ago after impressing executives at a tryout in Los Angeles, California.
He made his wrestling debut last May but was used sparingly at live events and on television. According to his match listing on ProFightDB.com, he wrestled a total of 11 times.
Here is one of Atkins’ television matches, which was against Eric Young in January.
His only other television match was against Mojo Rawley last July. It ended in a No Contest after Samoa Joe attacked both competitors.
