Scott Steiner is back in Impact Wrestling.
“Big Poppa Pump” made a surprise appearance at tonight’s Impact Wrestling in Orlando, Florida and was announced for a match at Slammiversary on July 2.
Steiner reemerged to assist Josh Mathews in his feud with Jeremy Borash and a tag match was made official for the upcoming pay-per-view event — Steiner and Mathews vs. Joseph Park and Jeremy Borash.

Steiner was last seen in Impact Wrestling in 2012. He had appeared at some Global Force Wrestling shows, so the merger between both companies may have contributed to his appearance.
Impact Wrestling is already promoting Steiner’s return. Here is a tweet they sent out, along with these fan photos.

While he was out of the limelight, Steiner continued wrestling for various independent promotions. Here is a match of his from earlier this year.
