Why Sasha Banks Kept Her Marriage Private

During an interview with Lilian Garcia, Sasha Banks finally opened up on getting secretly married to Sarath Ton last year.

“The Boss” appeared on Making Their Way To The Ring with Lilian Garcia in March 2017 and spilled the beans on her marriage when the former WWE ring announcer asked about the wedding.

“OK, you know what? Yes. I’ll tell you. You’re the first one I’ve admitted it to. I am married. I just hide it because our fans are so crazy sometimes, you know?” Banks said.

“Fans are just so crazy. I see what they write to him on Twitter, and I don’t like that stuff. If you’re saying he’s ugly, or he shouldn’t be with me because of this or that. That hurts me.”

Banks also commented on fans who are upset about not getting a chance to woo her themselves, saying they wouldn’t have stood a chance anyway.
